Free Worldwide Communication With Internet Phone:
One of the most expensive and dreaded times of the month is when a businesses telecommunications bill arrives in the mail. It is at this point where the management has a sit down to run over all the hundreds of calls made by the staff, and to come up with a plan to reduce this horrendous expense in the future. More often than not, no appropriate solution is thought up, and the issue is put on the back burner until the following month.
It doesn’t actually have to be this way though. What most corporate entities fail to realize is that if they were to switch their telecommunications systems to utilize the internet phone technologies of the modern day, they could almost wipe out the entire bill each and every month! Whilst it’s easy to say “change your systems over”, is it really that simple in practice? Let’s take a look.
The Technology Is Already There.
Funnily enough, the technology that a business would need to take advantage of an internet phone service is actually already in place, in about 95% of cases. This is because 95% of modern businesses have high speed access to the internet (in developed nations), and hence the only thing they would need to acquire to get the internet phone service up and running is the IP phone itself!
Remember, for internet phone to function properly, you need three things:
1. High Speed Internet Access.
2. Internet Phone Software.
3. Internet Phone Hardware.
As has already been pointed out, 33 percent of these requirements (1 out of the 3) are usually already met. The other 2 can be easily acquired for a very low cost.
Approximate Costs For Software And Hardware.
Assuming you are operating a large corporation, software and hardware acquisition can probably be done for less than the cost of 1 or 2 months phone bills. Clearly, this will generate a massive long term saving.
However, one thing which needs to be taken in to account is the cost of training new staff to use the new software. Even though the software itself may be extremely affordable, the costs of getting staff up to speed on the use of it needs to be factored in to the switch over cost.
Assuming you have an intelligent workforce – this shouldn’t be a concern at all, and even if on site training is required, the savings you get in the long term will more than outweigh the potential change over costs.
